You were gone for so many years
without a word to soothe my fears.
My heart is now pierced
cause you are not here to wipe away my tears.

All alone in the hallway
as always
I don't even know what to say
If only God will show me the way.

Show me the way back to your heart
Take me to a wonder place
Pull me out of my misery.
Take away my boredom.

I hate to admit
that I'm alone.
Alone in the world full of lies and deceit.
It's been lonely since you walked out of my life.

Come back to me, love
I don't want to be alone.
Come show me the light
and brighten my path.

I am lonely
so cold with no one to hold
Come be my warmth,
o loved one.

I don't want to be alone
I don't have to be alone,
but I'm standing by the phone
hoping to hear a tone.

A tone telling me to pick up
for my lonely days are over.
A voice telling me to look up
to see my loved one in front of me....

saying 'You are not Alone.'
