ESPN CHICK - Why Can't I?

Why can't I quit listening to stupid love songs
After all I am through with guys
They are more than I bargain for in this world
Yeah I may like this one but that doesn't mean I want him forever

Why can't I quit playing what he said in my head
After all I've never been in love before
And he doesn't make it easier
I thought he liked me for me

Apparently I was wrong
But why can't I get him out of my mind
Why can't I quit thinking about him
Even if I could tell him how I feel I don't think I could

Why can't I quit dreaming about him?
The dreams feel to real and I miss him more and more
If only he knew would he feel the same way I do
Cause I only want to feel whole again is that wrong

Maybe I would be fine and not so alone
Cause with him I feel alive
Doesn't he know I can't live without him
But why can't I live without him

Cause deep down inside I've fallen way to hard
To someone I don't even really know yet
But it feels right and I know its wrong
Why can't I figure this out?

If he would just admit whether or not he loves me
I could move on with my life
And not worry about him anymore
Maybe I would be better off if he was never apart of my life
