ESPN CHICK - Broken

I can fake the smiles everyday
I can cry myself to sleep every night
But I can't tell everyone that I'm not alright

Everyday I fake that I am happy
I pretend that theres nothing wrong
Even though there is something that is always bothering me

Deep down I'm hurting
The pain just won't go away
I push everyone away

Even the ones I care for
Cause I'm afraid that I might hurt them
But sometimes I just don't care

I'm broken but no one can fix me
No one can mend a broken body
I guess broken is just a part of me

I thought since I've found you
I would be alright
I could be happy

But honestly I can't handle this pain
Its bigger than you and I
Its taken over me

I know that you care
And I care about you too
Don't you know that you have changed me

Even though I still have this pain
But you came at the right time
Giving the most incredible advice

Cause you have been through it too
You just don't know how much you mean to me
And I wish I could be more honest with you
