Ep. 6 - Mya Woods

We sat down with Mya to chat about modeling in different cities. She started her career, here in Chicago, before making her way out to LA. She quickly learned that she needed to advocate for herself but wishes she had thicker skin to handle the toughness of this industry when she was young. The expectations of beauty still weighs heavily on her, and hopes to bring the importance of mental health more to the forefront. She also stresses the importance of standing up for yourself to ensure you do not get walked all over, this includes people in your corner like your agent.
