Enabling Brighter Tomorrows

To address established and critical gaps within elementary education, the Trusts, through its 'Reforming Elementary Education' sub-theme, focuses on issues of quality education through partnership with the government and the community. Since 2007, the Trusts have initiated district level intervention in select states, with the aim of making long term investments in improving quality of education in select blocks / districts, ranging from pre-school to high school education, over a period of time. Districts selected for this intervention include: (i) Chamrajnagar and Yadgir in Karnataka; (ii) Nandurbar in Maharashtra; and (iii) Khunti in Jharkhand.
