These are the nights
When memories sting
As clouds sailing over the sky
Large vessels of peace so high
In seconds gone, so shy
I pray, never hurry by

I hear the language of pain
Its emotion of indifference
Born one dusky afternoon
As runaway metal-clad lions
Handed my fear so soon
Nearly rumpled my cocoon

But there is a star in each wish
It lights up hope inside
The sound of prayers from all
Caring people I can call
Life whistles through GOD'S Miracle
In His arms, I truly dwell.
