All of the seas can only wish
soft sand upon its feet,
away from storm on safe coastlines
where ruffling curves and ridges crest
and balmy evening rests

The waves that often kiss the rocks,
their fates rest on the breeze.
Morning mist that touches my cheeks,
only echoes of the ocean
whispering to beckon.
