L'histoire d'un triangle amoureux.
Une femme chinoise, Mme Jiang, a épousé un homme français, Jean-Paul, pour pouvoir travailler et tenir son propre magasin. Mais tandis qu'elle tient le Bazar et s'échine chaque jour derrière sa machine à coudre, Jean-Paul disparaît et dilapide son argent dans des bars. Le troisième individu qui hante ce bazar, c'est Chicago. Un ami qui voudrait ou aurait pu prendre la place de Jean-Paul, et qui pour cela ne ménage aucun effort.
