I wish I had the courage to tell you,
those simple three little words in person,
I wish I wasn't scared, so scared of rejection,
I wish I could tell you, you gave my heart wings,
and it flew, it flew straight to you,

I wish you could tell, I wish you could see,
why I'm always so sad, always crying,
I wish you would actually ask why,
why I'm never okay anymore,

I wish you cared enough, just to ask,
just to ask what's wrong with me,
Instead of always saying 'I'm sorry, '
and running off with that other girl,

I wish on every star I see, that maybe someday,
I'll wake from this dream, and find that you love me,
Maybe someday you'll find me,
but know until then, I'm always here, waiting.
