Elephant Parade 2010

In 2010, 260 fibre glass elephants, decorated by artists; designers and celebrities were placed around London. Partly as an art exhibition;
but mainly, to highlight the plight of the asian elephant.
Unlike their african cousins, poaching has nothing to do with their decline in numbers.
It is the encroachment of man into their habitats that led their decline.
This film is about the sights and sound during a few brief days in 2010, when the elephants came to town.
