This electronica work begins with a four bar intro that consists of a concert grand piano, electronic ambience and an electronic bass playing a static line that sets the rhythmic groove for the rest of the piece. The entire ensemble begins at bar five and the first section of the composition begins. The melody is the played in unison on a live Takamine acoustic guitar and a concert grand piano, which is playing in three parallel octaves. This section ends with a two bar cessation of the backbeat as the melody launches into an ascending arpeggiated figure that sets up the section section (or the chorus).

In the second section, the melodic figure becomes repetitive and repeats the same simple eight bar phrase. The intro then returns and the entire form of the song is repeated with the concert grand piano playing a solo in three parallel octaves, in order to better capture the elegance of a ballroom orchestral piece. After the solo is done, the entire form repeats and the melody is once again played with the same instrumentation as it was in the first section. The piece then ends on a final sustained note.
