My king, my best friend
My words can't even compare to yours
But I'm getting closer and closer to you
Reaching for the sun that sets at midnight
I dream of you dreaming of me
In the same universe
Love remains a mystery to us
If only you were my first kiss
But I'd rather make love to you instead
We've known each other since last November
I want to connect with you on a higher level
I want to conquer the sea and touch the sky
With you, a dear and faithful poet
Only you know my secret
And I trust you will keep it
While we're still on this earth
For secrets are only kept
Between lovers and friends.
