Electric Lady - A New Love

A new awakening
A new beginning of what's to come
I'm not dead yet
Therefore I shall continue to make a statement on this earth
To shine is better than to reflect
Love's a bittersweet indulgence
Some say it's too bittersweet
But I don't mind the taste
A little bit of sunshine mixed with rain
Let's spark up something unusual
Like a candle that's already been lit
As the fireworks explode
And the beating of our hearts surrender.
