Educational Measurement:
It refers to the use of educational assessments & analysis of data such as scores obtained from educational assessment to infer the abilities and proficiencies of students.
Basically, educational measurement is the assigning of numerals to traits such as achievements, interests, attitudes, aptitudes, intelligence & performance.

Educational Evaluation:
It is the process of characterizing and appraising some aspects of an educational process. Educational institutions usually require evaluation data to demonstrate effectiveness to funders and other stakeholders & to provide a measure of performance for marketing purpose.
