I began doing NIA 10 months ago. I have lost 30 pounds. There are obviously that many plus to go yet, but there are so many benefits from NIA beyond weight loss that I would like to mention. At the time I started NIA, my walk was a shuffle, my knee hurt so bad I couldnt go down stairs and I was afraid of falling. Now I am stronger, more flexible, more mobile, and more stable, with more energy than I have had in many years. NIA has changed my life.
