EdgeStick Styling Techniques Workshop

Watch master hairstylist Keith Alexander demonstrate professional EdgeStick styling tips and techniques that allow users to smooth, straighten, and silk new growth, edges, and part lines.

Key Styling Techniques:

1.) Raking
This technique provides a silky finish for short hair, for example, at the nape of the neck. Also straightens / touches-up the part-line in children's and adult's hair.

2.) Scooping
This technique straightens shorter hair, typically near the nape of the neck, at part-lines, and around the face/forehead area when the hairline is close to the eyebrow. Also ideal for pixie hair styles.

3.) Straightening
This technique safely straightens new growth on clients who want to extend the time between relaxer treatments. In addition, is ideal for the edges and roots when using Keratin and/or Brazilian treatments.

4.) Combing
This technique combs the hairline smooth to allow a silky transition between the natural hair and extensions. Combing also tames the post-workout frizzy edges experienced by active women.
