The movie is based on the social scenario of that time in India when marriage was done without the consent of girls. Duniya Na Mane was a taunt on the society's biased behavior and a light for progress. The story roams around the cruelty of the older man over the little girl of 13 to 14 years who is married to him. That girl is Nirmla who is conned by her uncle to marry an old rich man having a widow daughter and a son. The story is how that girl fights against this cruelty and makes that old man understand that he was wrong.
