Aage Badho is a movie of that time when widow marriage was not very famous and considered as an offence. The movie talks about the social issues in India of ancient India and how the things got changed. Dev Anand is playing lead role in this movie as Udai and Khurshid is playing the role of Sarla. The story is about Sarla who is getting married and is very excited about her marriage.
But on the evening of her marriage her husband dies. Her step mother treats her badly. Thus, Sarla tries to commit suicideby drowning herself into the river and Udai saves her and cares for her. Udai is a person of progressive thinking and that's why he encourages Sarla to get married again. The movie is all about the relationship developed between Udai and Sarla and the reaction of Indian society.
