But the latest and greatest thing on the market, that we are hearing a buzz about is that of Dry Shampoos. Several of today's top manufacturers have a line dedicated to dry shampoo and we’re here to give the Smackdown on what is good and what is okay.

Every day, over-the-counter shampoos are fine, but even the leading companies such as Goldwell have introduced their versions of dry shampoos to refresh your locks at a moment’s notice.

Klorane was a Dry Shampoo original that you can find as an international product. This brand seems to be good as a Volumizer or root boost and is highly botanical. One thing that we liked about this brand is its quick application and there was no drying time necessary. (Hence the word dry) There was no stickiness or residue afterwards, but there was very little odor, making this a pretty good choice. One thing we don't like about this brand is that people with sensitive scalps may be prone to itching. A good dry shampoo will not usually have after effects.
