Dr John Celes - Infanticide (Infunticide?)

Oh, love me mother, I’m your son!
Oh, spare me father, this isn’t fun;
Oh, love me siblings, do not run;
Oh, save me God, I’m fully done!

My room is watery and quite dark;
I look now big and naked-stark;
I yearn to make my first cry soon;
I will not be a bane but boon!

The space is insufficient here;
I want to breathe like earthlings, air;
I want to see my parents dear;
I wish to feel their love and care.

Don’t flowers blossom in the wild?
My home, can I not so adorn?
I dreamt, I am an unborn child;
Oh, please allow me to be born!

I am a fully-grown fetus;
I wish to leave the uterus;
Let me not turn an abortus;
We beg you earthlings: ‘Don’t kill us! ’

My heart is sorrow, anguish-filled;
My neck is cut and head is drilled;
My pleas go wasted- I am killed;
Unborn, I die as if man-willed!

What tragedy has struck me fast!
Murdered in womb, I breathe my last;
I heard God call me by sweet name;
O God, forgive their sin of shame!

‘Each child’s a precious living doll,
That wants your love and not a pall;
God loves to forgive sinners all;
Repent; amend and heed His call! ’
