Dr John Celes - Flowers
0 Views • Oct 29, 2014
Description
And raised with care to heads adorn,
In various hues, and sizes shapes,
Perfuming world in ways untold.
And made as garlands for the Gods,
Or strewn upon the cemeteries,
Or placed in vases that confound
The eyes of people, who behold.
What beauty has the flower rose
That casts a spell when well arranged
In flower-shows at health resorts
That draws huge crowds who watch spell-bound!
But there are flowers more, concealed
In heart of forests untrodden,
With beauty unsurpassed, unheard,
Perfuming air where wild beasts live!
The beauty that is seen as rife
Is not the best, humans perceive;
The flower wild has more beauty
-The awesome proof of Gods glory.
