This past week Dr. William P. Adams of The Adams Center in Boston attended the 2012 Aesthetic Meeting in Vancouver, B.C. In this video he discusses La Viv Fibrocell Science. Dr. Adams participated in a training session for La Viv Fibrocell Science while at the meeting.
Dr. Adams discusses injectable fibrocell technology. Fibrocell is used for treatment of fine lines on the face - specifically the nasolabial folds. Dr. Adams plans to use Fibrocell to treat lines around the lip which have been very difficult to treat with the current modalities. Biopsies of your own skin are taken from behind the ear and the fibrocells are grown in tissue culture. You are basically getting your own tissue injected back to form new collagen. This means you will not have any foreign objects injected into your skin.
