One of my favorite Taiwanese dramas of all time. The drama was released in the 90s and tells the story of a rich woman (Kho Tam Lien) in her old age who goes back to search for the village in which she grew up in. In doing so, she reflects on the struggles of her life, from having to leave her family to become a servant at a young age to running into a convict in the woods. This drama will warm your heart, touch your soul, and teach you the necessary lessons in life that are often overlooked in today's society.
