In June 2009, European Parliament elections will simultaneously take place in the 27 European Union countries. The European Parliament exists to represent the voice of ALL EU citizens and is the only directly-elected body of the European Union. The Members of the European Parliament and YOUR vote, the votes of the more than 65 million disabled citizens, their families and friends CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE to ensure that citizens with disabilities can fully enjoy their civil, social, economic and political rights.
