Formula Overview:
A typical detergent powder contains active ingredients like acid slurry (LABSA) or SLES as the main surfactant to remove grease and dirt. Builders such as soda ash enhance cleaning efficiency by softening water and maintaining alkalinity. Fillers like sodium sulfate or salt help maintain bulk and flow properties. Additional components such as enzymes, optical brighteners, fragrance, and color improve performance and user appeal.

Manufacturing Method:
The production process starts with neutralizing the acid slurry using caustic soda to form an active cleaning agent. In a mixing tank or ribbon blender, soda ash and other dry ingredients are added and mixed thoroughly. Liquid ingredients such as surfactants, perfume, and color solution are then sprayed slowly into the mixture while continuously blending to ensure uniform distribution. The mixture is dried if necessary and passed through a sieve to achieve a fine, free-flowing powder. Finally, the detergent is packed in moisture-proof packaging.
