DESCENT INTO DARKNESS

This 4 minute 'chiller' is an adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's short story - "The Black Cat". It's set in modern times, and features a narrator who's said to be an 'unreliable witness' (or, in other words, a complete liar!) plus a plain clothes detective who has the job of questioning him concerning rumours that his wife has been reported missing.
The inspector picks up a number of incriminating clues during the interview but needs some firm evidence. He gets this and returns shortly after - with a vengeance! But not before the narrator suffers a very haunting experience and, incidently, sees the error of his ways...
