Missing you from so near a space
From this short distance I cleanly see your face
Every gorgeous dimple each beautiful line
Spellbound or cursed love to last all time
The price is high and so will be the fine

So called learn-ed men alter you, they say to give you life
But for three years they stumble, partial cause to all this strife
The darkness grew quietly, patiently, and undetected
Now they say it's too late too much is infected
So the shamans leave your desire on the floor unprotected

When you smile at me, inviting me to nowhere with your eyes
My chemistry in constant check, I silently curse my god with sighs
But then I watch you dance in the candle's loving light
And I praise him for these years after your fight
I beg my maker for just a few more, an apolygize for the slight

When we dance sing and play high on the wine
we forget about everything an lose track of time
A blessed bargain, In my words I don't falter
For the truest of loves, What would you place on the altar?
