Back from hostile places, Recycled home I stay
Tommorrow's the twelfth, Hey it's your day
Dutifully, Because Hey thats me
I'll go light a candle, But in its light I wont see

I've no taste for the wine, Not without you
You know it brings my smile from within, For that I'm too blue
Now I drink potions, Closer to fossil fuels
My blue heart betrays me, Just like a fools

She looked like you, True beauty head to toe
I smiled all night, But all I felt was woe
Her eyes invited me, The way yours used to
So we danced and danced, Just like me an you

We swayed all night, In a neutral bed
But the sun arose and shone into my soul, I'ts dead
I strapped up my boots, As she spoke of pancakes
So beautiful so young, Left kissless post-haste

Beautiful young an interesting, I'ts true
What every-man should want, Except she just wasn't you
