She dances
and the air hums about her hips
alluringly.

She dances
and she parts her scarlet lips
seductively.

She dances
and sweet shoulders sway
exquisitely.

And her eyes hold me
knowingly.

I’m a shadowman at the edge
off life’s highway-.

one of many in this
old café,

whose heart beats
tripingly

to the sound of midnight’s
melody

and Maree Maree

who moves my lonely heart
lovingly

and dances
just for me.
