Deforestation Making the Rohingya Vulnerable

The Rohingya are seeking shelter in the Ukhia and Teknaf District of Cox's Bazar. The camps are vulnerable to rising temperature and landslides due to the absence of trees which have been cut down to cater millions of Rohingya refugees.

Friendship is one of the many organization working to ensure health & hygiene and safe water facilities and also taking steps in planting trees to reduce the risk of landslides.
