The need for a new Financial Order following the emergence of new economic players and demise of some old ones led to the formation of the EBRD followed by the BRICS Bank and now the launch of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank led by China. The abstinence of the US and Japan only means they are out of a new viable institution in which 57 founding members including most of G-7 and G-20 states are already in.
