Snakes slither in the undergrowth
They slither up the trees
Snakes slither round the branches
They slither through the leaves

Snakes slither down the hanging vines
They slither to the ground
Snakes slither down the rabbit holes
They slither where foods found

Snakes slither round the rodents
They slither as they bite
Snakes slither while they’re eating
They slither out of sight

Snakes slither best in sunshine
They slither less at night
Snakes slither from the skin they wear
They slither when it’s tight

Snakes slither off to lay their eggs
They slither in a nest
Snakes slither till their brood has hatched
Then slither off to rest
