David Kowalczyk - First Sight

I awoke this October morn
to find a double rainbow
glittering in the western sky.


I walked into the field,
and said 'Thank you! '
to this most generous illusion.


Then I spun around
and waltzed back to bed.


A miracle was mine.
My work for the day
was done.
