This word causes
the stars to cry.



It turns
my eyelids to lead,
my brain to oatmeal,
and my heart to 'Off.'


Ennui was born
when fallen angels
started to play with kaleidoscopes.


Ennui has anonymous eyes,
and the soul of a bedbug.
