David Darbyshire - The Rig

Both Ray and Sid
worked on the Oil Rig
it was dirty and hard
each were scared

The long flame lit
the ocean night
they work right through
until morning, bright

Clamp, Drill and Bore
both hands very sore
Screw, clean and pipe
Ray and Sid are on a Hype

Oil brewing, almost to the top
In just a min surely it will POP!
Black Gold, Texas Tea
drops falling into the Sea

One barrel, two barrels, three
the oil pumps up from the Sea
40 dollars,50 dollars more
then there carried off to shore

The job is never done
a new shift has just begun
Clamp, Drill and Bore
both hands very sore
