Description

Like a cork in a washing machine
I got rinsed, rinsed very clean
nothing left of the boat,
I took anything that floats

also dove for more, but the ship was a wreck
nothing left to store, all is lost at sea
I made it a-shore, almost at my death
was breathing hard, lost my breath
the sand was soft and dry, I began to cry:

Strange sounds a night, they give me a fright
no roof over my head, I see the moonlight
I try to sleep, but begin to weep
now the sand is wet, and I start to regret

The morning comes, with the hot Sun
Look for a spot to make my camp
worked hard all day, seems like fun
both arms are sore, in my foot a cramp

Stuck on this Island
from now to eternity
don't really want to be rescued
I'll have to wait and see

Seems like paradise
The sand, the beach, the sea
I will have to pay a price
there's no one else but me
