David Chacon

David Chacon, has over 15 years experience in sales, marketing, business development, finance and management. At the age of 27 he became senior-vice president of the world’s largest bank, Citigroup, perhaps its’ youngest. He was a vice-president at Credit Suisse. In 2002, he made world headlines for exposing questionable business practices on Wall Street. He left the industry and became a shareholder activist, advising both the U.S Congress and State’s Attorneys Generals. David has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Business Week. His actions led to industry wide reform and the payment of billions in fines, penalties, and settlements back into investor’s hands, including a record 2.65 billion dollar settlement against his former employer. David is the founder of Lightspeed Enterprises, a strategic advisory firm focused on communications and environmental technology.
