Daffodil Jackson - That Night.

I had no way of knowing

That the winds of change were blowing

Enchanted dust from twinkling skies

To light my star-bedazzled eyes.



That whispers from the gnarled old trees

Would fall like leaves upon the breeze

And ancient wisdom would impart

To bring sweet solace to my heart.



I did not know that moonbeams

Would dance inside my lonely dreams

And make my spirit soar anew

That Night, my love, when I met you.
