OTP (One-Time Password) and password hacking are common methods used by cyber criminals to illegally access a person’s online accounts, bank details, or personal information.

In OTP fraud, criminals trick victims into sharing their One-Time Password through fake calls, messages, or emails pretending to be from a bank, customer care service, or official company. Once the victim shares the OTP, the attacker immediately uses it to complete unauthorized transactions or take control of accounts.

Password hacking involves stealing or guessing a user’s login credentials through phishing websites, fake apps, malware, keyloggers, or social engineering techniques. Weak passwords, using the same password for multiple accounts, and clicking on suspicious links make people easy targets.
