RingMD with Government of India in their Digital India initiative will improve Access to Doctors for 880 Millions Indians.

Nearly 70% of India’s population lives in rural areas – virtually cut off from access to modern healthcare. On average in India, there are only 7 doctors per 10,000 people, with the highest density of specialists and highest educated doctors being located in urban centers. Borders and discrepancies of access to medical services of urban and rural populations are being erased, with the launch of the Digital Doctor program powered by RingMD’s telemedicine services all around India.
