Corsola vs. Misty

MS. Stronk's second challenge goes down at Cerulean City.

She faces Misty the Water Type Gym Leader. Now Misty could potentially be a problem. She resists our strongest move Bubblebeam, though I do opt to use it against her Staryu. We do not resist her water type moves though. With how slow Corsola is and with Water Pulse's chance to confuse us it could be tricky.

Staryu poses little danger and we even get to burn her one Super Potion. Bubblebeam takes the lead Pokémon down.

Next up is her ace, Starmie. Starmie is fast FAST. I decided to forego Bubblebeam as I believe its special defense would be a waste of time trying to Crack. Instead I opt for taking it down with Rock Tomb. The first Water pulse triggers my fear and we become confused. However luck is on my side and I somehow avoid self infliction. Rock Tomb procs its chance to lower speed. After trading blows including Starmie using Recover once a combination of Rock Tomb and a few Recoveries of my own secure the W and we receive the Cascade Badge.
