Corn Day Celebrations for Nursery

Learning activities are designed by the teacher to bring about, or create the conditions for learning. Some learning activities stimulate experiential learning, others mobilise conceptual thinking, while still others prompt students to engage in analytical discussion.
Keeping this in view, ‘Corn Day’ was celebrated by students of grade Nursery of Delhi Public School, Kamptee Road, Nagpur on 9th August 2019.This activity was conducted to reinforce the alphabetical sound ‘C’. The children were asked to bring boiled sweet corn to inculcate healthy eating habits. The teachers guided the children to make corn chat by adding chopped onions, coriander, chat masala, salt and topping up with tamarind and green chutney.
