Cop Au Vin

Presented by Impact Film and NUTS, Cop au Vin is a short film produced by students of the University of Nottingham.

A hommage to the world of French cinema movements such as film noir and "la nouvelle vague," Cop au Vin is a 20-minute pastiche of classics like A Bout de Souffle (1960) and Ascenseur pour l'Echafaud (1958).

The aim of the project was not only as an experience for all those involved but to share our passion for this often-overlooked world of cinema while hopefully spreading the word too.

As this is a project conducted by students for non-commercial, educational purposes, all material, citations and musical samples owned by others have been cited using the Harvard referencing format and thanked in the credits as well as permission sought for its usage. Without the genius of others, this project would never have existed.
