I wrote this track for an assessment at university. It started about the feelings I had regarding the loss of friendships during a particularly rough part of my life. But then as i completed it I realised that I was also trying to express how worn out and burnt out I was feeling at the time.

My engine wants to stall
And I'm not about to boast
Cause I'm feeling kinda gross
I know I'm looking frail
And the words are getting stale

I can't define my decline with a reason
I only know, what I know isn't useful
Nobody knows how to make me be silent
And I can't decide what to be before I die

But living's just as bad

Can't alleviate the "sad"
The damage now is done
So there's no more time for fun
Let me sleep a little while
Maybe then I'll leave in style
