Colon hydrotherapy is a process in which extremely large amounts of liquids are infused into the bowel thru the lower colon thru a tube, some pints at a time, to attempt to bathe away and remove its contents. CI is different from a standard enema which involves infusing a smaller quantity of liquid into the lower colon only.
