Coastside Detectives Distant Islands

Mike Mason, a harden private investigator originally from San Francisco becomes embroiled in the local politics of coastal preservation with the murder of an outspoken environmentalist whose body is found in a garbage dump in the small coastal town of Pacifica just south of San Francisco. A growing body count soon begins to work to unnerve this harden detective as he prowls the Bay Area's crabbing piers, runs up against a vengeful developer, and follows a fresh trail of body parts. And this time, Mike Mason finds he has become a target himself.
