A Lecture on Classification of Statutes. It is Second Lecture of Interpretation Statutes series by 3TYMR given YASH SHARMA. This Lecture covers the topics the CLASSIFICATION OF STATUTES.

Lecture starts with Review of LECTURE 1, stating the meaning of term STATUTES. Further, it is explained that statues can be classified on basis of DURATION, METHODS, EXTENT OF APPLICATION and OBJECT.

This lecture further demonstrate the types of statutes on basis of DURATION which is of 2 TYPES , first is TEMPORARY and other is PERMANENT. Likewise Lecture further illustrated the terms MANDATORY & DIRECTORY, PUBLIC & PRIVATE STATUTES.
