City-Wide Open Studios

Every year in July the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis hosts City-Wide Open Studios, a week-long event dedicated to the discovery of the hidden spaces where artists work. The program welcomes all artists in the local St. Louis Metro Area to participate. The event offers a unique opportunity for visitors to explore the creative and personal spaces of artists while providing the ability to enjoy one of the most exciting parts of contemporary art, being able to talk to working artists. The CWOS program consists of a series of events and tours for the general public and participating artists. Through the CWOS program local artists are connected to the museum, while the museum connects participating artists to the larger community.
