Ciara Owens - Listen

We all need something to believe in,
because i'm looking around and all i can see
is dysfunctional families, broken hearts, and lost dreams
we've forgotten the meaning of truely believing
and sometimes, things get so hazey
we forget how to see with our hearts instead of our eyes
Sometimes things get so crazy
we forget the difference between love and pain.
there's children out there getting beaten till they can hardley breathe
there's people out there killing till the streets become rivers of blood
all because we've forgotten...
There's nothing left for us to believe in anymore
there's no such thing as good and bad anymore
everythings gotten so messed up lately
that the lines we never would even dream of crossing
as slowly being erased,
think about it,
do you have anything to believe in?

(Don't wait till its too late,
take a stand
while we still can,
and fight hopelessness)
