To cry, to weep
To rise, to keep
Your head above the water
You try to sleep
Not to rise, to keep
Safe from reality that awaits

Beware the danger
Its golden tip strikes deep
Into the eye, into the soul
Your land of kings
Will crumble
With that first ray of light
To leave you in a world
That rumbles
With gun shots and fights
Long days and lonely nights
Better to shut yourself away
From the light
